Richard Conn has worked with the Ada language for over 20 years (since the days of DoD1). He has worked at Lockheed Martin, the MITRE Corporation, General Electric, Texas Instruments, the U.S. Army Software Development and Support Center, and the U.S. Army Satellite Communications Agency. He has also taught graduate-level courses in Computer Science and Software Engineereing as a full-time professor Monmouth University and the Air Force Institute of Technology.
Rick founded and managed the Ada Software Repository, then the Public Ada Library, the Software Development and Engineering Library, and now the Ada and Software Engineering Library. He has served as editor of the Walnut Creek Ada CDROMs (14 of them), the Walnut Creek SDE CDROM (1 of them), and the Walnut Creek ASE CDROMs (5 of them) from November 1993 to the present. Rick received an award for "Outstanding Contributions to the Ada Community" from ACM/SIGAda.
