Dr. Robert Dewar from Ada Core Technologies will be speaking on
Open Source/Free Software Issues
at Lockheed Martin in Rockville, Maryland, our DC SIGAda Venue
Mr. Robert Dewar is the President and CEO of Ada Core Technologies, one of the leading Ada vendors, and the home of GNAT, the Free Software implementation of the Ada 95 language. He has been involved with Ada for over 20 years, was a member of the review committees for both Ada 83 and Ada 95, and helped write the requirements document for Ada 95.
He is a winner of the SigAda award for contributions to the Ada community, and has been involved in many Ada related activities. Robert is also a Professor of Computer Science, and past chairman of the department at New York University, where his primary research interests are in programming languages, compilers, and microprocessor technologies.
